Mind-Body connection

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

While I was sort of getting organized within my mailbox (okay I admit, I haven’t been good at de-cluttering these days but it’s more a choice than overwhelm!) I saw this interesting clip:
“… Research in psychiatrically ill children and adolescents suggests that those with depression, anxiety and other so-called “internalizing” disorders are more likely to have allergies…”

Internalizing disorders (fears, worrying, shyness…) develop when instead of taking emotions out on others, the feelings get internalized.

Yet another clue on how the mind-body connection works in the light of hard-science and here we have a starting point to do EFT on, or how to get to the deeper layers. Although EFT won’t harm, always seek advice of a professional healthcare practitioner if you suspect serious (mental) health problems.
